After listening to her as background noise for three hours while doing FF14 reps, I have to say that Irys' habit of going 'yeah?' at the end of her own sentences is pretty cute. It's also pretty endearing that she sometimes seems amazed by really mundane shit plus she frequently wonders whether or not something is a common thing while acting almost like she's a weirdo for not knowing.
The latter quirk almost unintentionally plays into her lore and makes it feel like she doesn't know what's up with the world after not being around for so long when in reality she's just an out of touch hag
