Its basically a super move with a really unorthodox input (called the pretzel motion) that can, potentially, do a fuckton of damage. The reason why is because, unlike other supermoves in fighting games, Deadly Rave demands you do both additional inputs and for them to have perfect timing, and missing one will either make the super end early, doing less damage.
Grubble has a lot of references, and Ken with a skirt had a deadly rave that they took away since it limited balance on the character.
Its a high risk high reward move that feels amazing to master
