I know some audiences really get off on seeing people meet for the first time, and I do really get why they like it. When two people you really like meet and you get to see them hit it off and become friends in real time it's a great feeling, but in the same breath it's to some degree an inorganic meeting because there's a crowd to perform for. I like the idea of them meeting in advance and hopefully getting kinda comfortable around eachother so they would be more ready to riff off of eachother and have a more organic interaction in the collab without the pressure of breaking the ice live.
