>>55034156I suppose in no small part because VNs are a fairly intimate experience that most often heavily encourages self-inserting, meaning people want to read them for themselves, without distractions if they're serious about it. I have to admit that I myself would only watch VN streams if I've read the VN myself (or have 0 interest in it and don't give a fuck) out of fear of ruining my own experience of it when eventually I get around to reading it myself. But boy oh BOY would I enjoy myself seeing them read a serious moege like Riddle Joker.
