Like I kind of get why every fic goes the, what they look like on stream is what they look like in 'life' route, since it's inherently simpler and gets around having to explain why girl that doesn't look like chuuba X is actually chuuba X and also avoids any issue about their 'roommate' because you want to write about a chuubas fictional roommate rather than their actual roommate.
Though thinking about it it's probably a bit too high concept for a one shot, would probably need like a multi chapter fic in order to actually get mileage out of the concept. Especially since you'd need to come up with the 'normal' designs yourself since I'm pretty sure the only ones who have this kind of art made of them is gen 3, Aqua (pic related) and Coco.
