It's called Cinderella Switch and they had 20 concerts (the Aki/Mel one was absolute kino by the way, you'll never get a feeling like getting hugged by your oshi in VR again like that). But the platform who hosted those concerts, VARK, took the decision to turn towards different headsets, while the ones that used to play them were totally fine.
If VR concerts are tough to turn into a profit, why cut part of the audience that were already hype for your concerts and hungry for more?
Nowadays VRChat's gonna be the closest we get to that again (and they'll flop hard if they try and make it as immersive as the VARK concerts), or Holoearth when they make it a VR event. But now even the Vark website is down. Chances of this kind of thing coming back are abysmal...
