>>37161979>>37162022The frustrating thing is the platforms don't want to have these policies. Even Patreon didn't want to do this. The credit card companies have a complete stranglehold on what online content can be monetized and they're huge moralfags about it because they don't want their brand associated with questionable content that might get them regulated. This means you can't just create a new replacement for Fanbox if you still have to deal with Visa and Paypal.
This was the kinda thing crypto was supposed to protect against, but due to its volatility from retards using it as an "investment" bitcoins and eth never really took off as a proper decentralized currency.
It's really sad and I hope artists find a proper solution to let them create content freely while still making a living.
The most immediately obvious workaround would be setting up a separate service as a payment processor to serve as a way to obfuscate payments.
>go to artcoins.moe>buy x amount of artcoins>artcoins can be spent on Fanbox, Pixiv, Fanza, dlsite, deviantart, skeb, etc without being associated with any single servicePretty much what the pachinko parlors do in Japan for their prize exchange.
