Polka has also said she wants to be closer to Lamy and others in the same way, but has admitted she also feels insecure and has a lot of guilt toward the times she let down gokisei in the large collabs they've had. She seems to be avoiding any commitments with them until she feels like she fixes the perceived flaws at the root of all this. She's not necessarily avoiding the problem, but is definitely going about fixing it alone in all the wrong ways. Instead of avoiding them, I think she should be working to collab with them much more in small ways at first, then work up to larger ways. That will help slowly alleviate her fear and guilt even if she messes up a few times along the way. See PolFlare -- any stream involving them has been consistently great because she's one of the few holos she feels she can actually lean on and be comfortable around. It may require her to evolve who "Polka" is a little to get over some of the insecurities she has over the criticism she's gotten from non-fan viewers, but I don't think doing that would even faze fans in the slightest since the overwhelming consensus from omaruza is "we sincerely just want you to be happy and enjoy what you do, whatever that is."
