I'm not saying you should give schizos unwarranted attention but "ignoring the trolls" only works when you're in a close-knit community where everyone can recognize trolling. On anonymous public platforms like 4chan all it does is give the trolls free reign to control the narrative. Literally no one bothered to disprove the 2% rrat that was 100% false and now the entire catalog thinks it's true with 0 evidence just because it got repeated enough times without a rebuttal.
