>>20068502It unironically does because most of the learning is just muscle memory that you can't actually "learn" if you're above the age of 25. The game itself is super rigid and you'll get flamed extremely hard for doing anything that isn't exactly perfect to what pros do which just discourages people from learning the game when every little thing they do gets criticized for not copying Faker in fucking wood tier ranked games.
LoL is an easier game but the way you learn the game is super unintuitive and requires a higher level of masochism compared to dota where you just pick up the game and play whatever hero you want in whatever position you want until you feel comfortable branching out. it also doesn't require super fast reflexes and your lane isn't automatically lost the moment you die one time in the first 5 minutes. there's even situations where it's worthwhile to suicide as a support while in LoL dying at all in lane basically means you're irreparably behind and need to play defensive for the next 10 minutes until teamfights start.
t. someone that actually plays both games
>>20068651If she approaches dota the same way she approaches Apex she might have a lot of fun. the game heavily rewards being aggressive as a support or mid player and she might get really into it once she learns the basics of the game.
