but moreover, just in the way that he chose to structure the manga, ensuring that he has to periodically 'end' the series, already puts him in top tier of mangakas and he sticks the landing more often than not. his characters live, die, peace out, retire, and generally do so because its just correct narratively instead of artificially keeping people around merely because they are popular.
