>>8636527It is satire and cynicism to its core, design wise this thing was more meant to have an engaging, balls deep combat encounters with the soviets, so on paper it is quite an understandable approach to lump in so much shit, but in the other hand M2 ODS is lagging behind in modern encounters, like on militia-esque scenarios, which is why the US is focusing more in MRAP's, apparently the Bradley didn't have a V-Hull so have fun if your aluminum covered APC hits an EID, you may as well pack some meat and marshmallows to leave a tasty meal to Mohammed.
Movie wise I think it’s neat in the sense that people who aren't that much into history get to “witness” a modern world scandal without being a politics landmine all over, the humor is natural and realistic, which is something that most movies lack these days in my opinion.
