>>47464085The reason for that because people who become a VTuber fandom long enough will remember the bad things associated with the recast, like Kizuna Ai's past drama about VA or a certain black company's whole dumpster fire (I forget about the detail). Also, there's a valid point that it'll never be the same "persona" again since the VA is changed. Just look at the replies of the announcement, there's just confusion and disappointed sentiment.
