It is NOT normal to allow your job to devour your whole life, I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with girls like Marine, Biboo, or Miko who's entirely life included free time is consumed by Hololive, nor is there anything wrong with the Mori-Koyori time who's entire existence is just devoted to work, maybe to fill a void in their lives.
I think Hololive has a problem in that it takes advantage of girls who're like this and then just runs with it, there's very few managers like Watame's who see the girls borderline killing themselves and feel the need to step in, for most, the girls are just perpetual motion machines, but this has also set a bad precedent than when there's a girl who does NOT see Hololive that way, instead treating it like just another job the way Fauna, Ayame, Gura and Mumei do, they tend to react badly and sometimes lash out at them. I think the problem here is within you and not in the girls, they're doing what they're paid to do, if others lack something in their life that they feel the need to replace with Hololive, that's very much to it, but attitudes like

The girls NEED to touch grass, they NEED to talk with people outside of Hololive, you can't be a good entertainer if your entire life is made up of your work, because the best material for commentary is out there in the living breathing world. The expectation that EVERY SINGLE GIRL has to be in all the voice packs, that they need to keep putting out music, that they need to keep streaming every day every hour. it's unhealthy and it's the sicko child of Cover willingness to allow the girls to exploit themselves in order to achieve popularity (which of course the girls who don't have any contact with the real world need the most) and the old idol traidtion that the job should require to kill yourself because it's a BLESSING to be there in the first place. There's a reason that the girls who cared about numbers the least: Fauna, was also one of the most popular, she actually had a grip on her life
