Maybe in private what they say seems less mean-spirited and the boys are probably fine with/in on the joke. But then they bring it out into the public as if the audience would be chill in the same way.
Nina had to thoroughly clarify that we should just assume any matter is dealt with privately which gives me the impression that they don't think really about the perspective of the viewers looking in whenever they make these jokes. They really need to be more careful but then again I don't think Millie and Enna don't care their optics and seem to purposefully want to piss people off.
