>>78303793This is really his biggest flaw, if I'm being honest. His arrangements really lack much (or, frankly, any) shaping or dynamism. Even in a moment where you would EXPECT something nice and bombastic or poppy, like the lower horn segue around the one minute mark of Our Promise, everything is so leveled out and so little is being done to support it that it barely even registers compared to how you would normally want to sell a moment like that.
I also really dislike his choices when it comes to percussion, although this is a pretty common flaw for almost every "orchestral remix" type you find on the internet.
