Hills and ridges should also serve as separators of the provinces. The Raika is the artery of the country so provincial capitals are probably located quite near it. The East is quite pastoral but the Northern most territory still has some good farmlands and climate near that river plain going into /uuu/ so the placement is kind of like Canada and specifically Alberta. Of course this is just a place holder. Orange is major cities, red is the regional capital, blue dot means it's a port. Capital is self-explanatory.
