People wanting Ame to be more social simply don't understand, that is precisely why she is perfect the way she is.
She's the quiet but cute girl who's always by themselves. You might think she's weird, you might not think much of her at all, but once you get to know her you slowly unravel the world she keeps inside herself. Her guiding about animals, her love of terrariums, her love of the stars. You might not fully understand it but her passion keeps you fixated to the point where you slowly share in her love. Then as you slowly get to know each other you start getting more flirtatious, but there's still that thin layer of defence that makes you want to break through it. And sometimes it cracks through, showing insecurities and traumas that just makes you wish for her continued happiness.
But then it gets to the bad parts. You see all of her charms, but you see all of her flaws too. She might not want to do things your way, and you start projecting your own insecurities through her actions, wanting her to take better care of herself, wanting her to make more friends, wishing her to be a better version of you.
But despite all that she surprises you again and again. Partly due to her own anxieties, but also partly just due to her desire to want to see you smile and have fun together. And then you realise that all of it doesn't matter. She doesn't want to be a better person for others, she just wants to find happiness for herself and for you.
That's why we Gosling. Not because she's the most sexual, not because she's pretending to be our girlfriend. It's because we see someone who is usually so closed off willing to share her world with others, just so she can share in her happiness with us.
