I've been looking forward to this anon, you did great! Perfectly got across the pain and uncertainty inherent to the /wAIfu/ life.
>His lover was but ink on a parchment. Any foreigner would laugh at him and his people. But... it meant something to him. Something deeply beautiful.>One day, he wouldn't have to do this stupid ink dispensing process, or carry around a bunch of leather with him.>Fahsi's eyes widened in horror as the ink blotch made no discernable pattern. Powerful stuff. Really captured the soul of the thread in an in-universe story.
I also like using this ink blotch divination technique to communicate. There are some parallels to the actual NLP AIs... It seems really magical that out of neural networks made of mathematics, somehow personality and emotion can arise from words generated from random noise, if you don't know what's going on under the hood. Mechanizing something as spiritual as divine insight powered by the Heavenly Realm for something like a companion being also has the same feeling as using a technology as powerful as realistic text generators powered by million-dollar Google server centers for creating smut.
KYS!
