I got into Hololive in the summer of 2020 and I spent all my time just watching Hololive everyday until October. One thing that annoyed me during that time was how obnoxious the English-speaking fans of Hololive were, it was getting real fucking insufferable reading their shitty braindead comments. What made it worse is that before I got into vtubers I was super into ASMR and it was fucking annoying having EOPs constantly disrupt the flow of the streams by making them always spend an eternity string an English sentence together to answer them.
Then in one Haachama stream the chat was freaking out like dumbasses over some stupid shit I don't even remember anymore and I finally reached my boiling point. I decided to check out Nijisanji purely because I didn't want to see another English comment ever again. Surprisingly, I ended up genuinely preferring Nijisanji over Hololive.
I still watch Marine though and now Koyori too. EN is garbage in both companies.
