Was EN getting sub 500 ccv during overlaps normal before Ethyria debuted? Seems like I see it a hell of a lot more now whereas before it only happened with extremely debuff content like Finana's The Medium streams. Ethyria's debut has increased the overall views that NijiEN gets but it feels like the individual livers are set up to suffer in the future if they don't perform really well. Sorry to bring up the dilute hotcakes meme again but I feel like it's going to be a real danger to the less successful EN livers if they keep up this rate of releasing new waves.
I think after wave 4 comes out they should slow down to releasing only 2 new EN waves a year, and instead focus on expanding the existing NijiEN's reach as much as they can, not just targeting existing Hololive fans but also try getting fans from the anime and game industries to notice Nijisanji exists. They should run ads on Crunchyroll and various gaming sites, and have major collab events with popular games in the west, in a similar manner to the collab JP is having with Black Surgenight right now. Or something like a Finana Doritos sponsorship. Nijisanji needs more exposure, they need to get their name out.
