Sorry no vocaroo greeting today, I'm working on this particular draft ToT>>83983888Yeah, agreed. I think it's trying to fit the theme of making commercial music with the livers, so it's closer to the idol formula of just working off of music that's been prepared for them.
And yeah!! I'm so onboard to see what Doppio would do in a similar vein since he's got so much lore to work off of, and as a storyteller I think he'd make music a fantastic medium for that. I'm honestly so glad he chose to create something new than covering something because while not perfect, it's experimental and that raw, visceral feeling he wanted to get across is there because of that.
Yeah! I like Shades for that reason, but there's moments where it's almost too literal. I give it the pass, but I definitely prefer more subtextual lyrics. Ahhhh Uki and Ike would be such a god duo for something new too, something atmospheric even! I'm excited to also see if there'll be more music ventures for them later this season since I'd love to see Maria and Kotoka also get some moments like these! I don't know if you've gotten the chance to watch the Hopconcerts or went to them, but holy moly Kotoka and Meloco went sooo hard!
