>>86175187Interesting. I'd have expected them to be more like a hard shell as a defense against larger animals biting down on them. I guess if they're venomous predators they have an advantage in a bind though so they'd get tangible benefits from resisting quick hits. I'm probably thinking about this wrong anyways.
