In real life, when it comes to stuff like this, the safest option is always to ask the person grieving yourself on what you could do to help them as opposed to just imposing stuff on them. And as someone said here, the original idea lacked tact and has the capacity of not being supportive but rather hurtful.
As a fanbase, we can't really ask her directly obviously. Not at the moment at least, and even when asked I don't think she'd asked for anything other than perhaps not to bring it up in the future.
I understand that some kronies feel the need to support her by doing something but sometimes not doing anything is just as helpful. She didn't allow replies to the announcement for a reason. Give her space.
But if kronies really do want to do something then so be it. This Christmas is undoubtedly tainted for her, but I suppose kronies could do something to make it less shitty for her.
So... let's just hope you're completely right by then.
