After my dad passed away earlier this year I needed a way to get my mind off things so I started making memes/OCs for other vtubers, and after a while I started asking a buddy of mine who has been doing it for a while how to start and here I am now.>4) How would you suggest someone start with making OC?Just go about your day and let it come to you, never try to force it, I find I'm at my most creative when I'm at work and ideas start popping into my head and I write them down or let them simmer until the end of the day and if I still remember them I start them or if I forgot them they probably werent that good to begin with.
