I've given it just a little bit of a look but there's something that's been jumping at me for a while. The concepts I see in male vs female chuubas.
With female corpos you'll get the whole zoo and mythology:
>Sheep
>Serpent
>Reaper
>Shark
>Cat
>Succubus
>Squirrel
>Dogs
>Wolf
>Time Keeper
>Fairy
and it keeps going
But for male corpos the only thing I've mostly ever seen:
>Vampire
>Demon (horns optional)
>Human
Kageyama Shien and Banzoin Hakka I just learned about being a jackal and a tengu, so there doesn't seem to be a rule against the high concepts in Holostars at least.
Lastly there's Mysta and Alex with the fox motifs and Kanade Izuru with the cat-eared hood are partial exceptions.
So I've been wondering - why is this? Does anyone know any streamer anecdotes behind their designs? Do you think the marketing team might encourage playing it safe with making the next handsome human guy? Or are guys more inclined just to roll with anything and they're comfortable just being a human character?
