>>92989737It's not random, it's based on a counter that increases when you use the drive and goes back down when you get it. It's "randomly" activated once it's over a certain threshold, but it's mostly deterministic and just a matter of time. They reset the counter to 0 at several points through the story and it does eventually stop happening. If you redo a fight several times, it's pretty easy to tell when your counter is fucked and you get it constantly vs. low and you don't get it a single time.
