>>21967953I don't think they were nepotism hires at all but they definitely give their friends advice on the auditions. This advice can only get you so far but considering it elevated Shu enough to get him into Nijisanji with his otherwise bland personality shows how much it can help.
My personal rrat is Enna/Millie didn't even have an interest in joining Nijisanji until they saw Elira joined and then applied for Ethyria just to be with their friend. That explains why a literal who like Finana got through the auditions for Lazulight over pretty established vtubers that were well-known in the indie scene. Same for Reimu but replace Elira with Petra, if she applied for Lazulight there's no way she wouldn't have been accepted with her resume.
That means there's an alternate timeline where Rosemi didn't make it into Obsydia and ended up with Millie's model, Finana ended up being Enna, while Pomu ended up being Reimu reincarnating from one ghost to another...
