>>50997827It is kind of weird in hindsight, but ultimately that period did do a lot of good for her, and us, even if it wasn't apparent. I don't quite agree with the notion that she's treating us so well solely because of it (which I've seen stated before and elsewhere), but it definitely was a significant wake-up call about the drawbacks of her lifestyle and mindset at the time that she's since made great strides in addressing. I never want to see these women suffer, not even for their own actions, because ultimately the backlash is virtually always way overblown (for her doubly so), but that's why I'm relieved she was able to bounce back like she did.
