So that's a fair amount of money that probably went to not only the artist but also the riggers, and she had a second outfit on top of that so its even more money that was invested. And that's STILL not getting into the fact that she has a pretty good looking 3D model, which again probably costed a fair amount of time and money to work on, and that's also not counting all the promotions they did for it.
It was a literal Faustian trade she was involved in, she flat out signed away her identity in exchange for fame and money. The situation with her brother passing this year is very sad, but I don't feel sorry for Mariya when it comes to her selling the rights to her IP when she could have very easily reincarnated when signing on.
