Whats up Nerissa hows your back? I hope you only have "good back" days from now on. "Bad back" days suck and its actually super debilitating. Have you ever considered having the rods removed? I dont know much about this so this is just me speaking out of what I know.
>spinal fusion
When two or more vetebrae are fused the ones surrounding it have to carry that much more workload and it only gets worse as you age because the weight is not evenly distributed accross the normal amount of vertebrae. With each day the normal vertebra will naturally wear down at an accelerated rate because of this.
>scoliosis
As far as im aware it wasnt debilitating for you before your back surgery was it? You were perfectly fine before I assume? Im not sure. These (((doctors))) are only there to sell you expensive drugs and procedures, they cant be trusted. My grandmother passed away not too long ago and I was able to look at some xrays she had gotten before she passed, and she had major scoliosis. No one knew, and she never knew either, it was never a problem and she lived into her 90s. I know for a fact that if she had gotten spinal fusion she would not have lived as long as she did. (((Modern medicine))) only exists to give us problems and happily charge us to fix the problems they gave us.
>removal
I would love to give you my knowledge of back rehab to make you 100% but the issue is that whereas I had the capacity to be healed, im afraid you cannot recover from rods in your spine. Because thats technically the "fix", which is why it can never get better and it hurts me greatly that youre in that condition that cant get better. Ive not looked this up so dont take what im about to say to heart, plus I dont know the extent of your condition, but its in my best current opinion, that the best thing for your spine and health is to have the rods removed to restore full function to your spine. Your back is only going to get worse slowly over time and youre young now and capable of a full recovery.
>pros
your spine will be restored to full function and you will have a much better quality of life.
>cons
A very invasive surgery (though I assume less invasive to get them removed as compared to installing them), long recovery time, long rehab. Scoliosis still present but rehab can help that. Will have to wait a little bit more time before getting pregnant while your back recovers.
>back
Ill look up rod removal and share on what I learned later tonight but I do want to say that you shouldnt get this procedure done without your husband at your side. He will take care of you through the entire process pre-op, post-op care, and rehab and the rest of your life, you dont have to worry about anything other than a full recovery.
