>>82755419I'll just say the gimp selection tools are a nightmare of losing your selection, selecting the wrong things, randomly going invisible for no reason and having to find out there's even an option to not show selections that gets activated without reason, limiting what you can edit without even knowing it's selected
just trying to figure out how to even expand the fucking background was a pain in the ass
The biggest thing that kept happening was making a selection with free select, connecting the start and end, and then the shit just doesn't fucking take and I have to redo it because one of the 300 other options was selected wrong, who fucking knows, so I had to go all the way back to the start just to undo whatever mysterious shit happened in the middle. Happened like twenty times.
