You turn your head to look at her. Again? She smiles and wiggles her toes , expectantly. With a huff, you begin to massage Lua's fleshy heel. Working your way up to her tiny crooked toes with firm, but gentle pressure. the only sound is the occasional pop of her toes and some contented sighing. As you finish with the right foot, she kisses you on the cheek. You say goodnight and go to sleep on opposite sides of the bed.
