Anyway, after some deliberation I'm tossing the homunculus idea out. Or rather, I'll say there's been attempts none of which have worked but the failures taught the alchemists how to make fairly basic golems. I should make a rentry of some of the special inventions that come out of that guild, then let you guys tell if I've done a dumb. Not sure if I'll be able to punch one tonight though.
