First ever hololive girl and been streaming for 5 years, but she still isn't THAT popular enough to reach 1 million subs yet. Must be sad to watch so many your kouhais speedrun past 1 million and become much more popular than you'll ever be.
She's also still one of the only pure "idols" in hololive. She wanted to be part of an idol group, but then Yagoo's dream died. So many of her kouhais are batshit insane or don't give a fuck about being a proper idol. So now Sora's idol career is lumped together with all those crazies.
Next is that her design looks so similar to Kizuna Ai, one of the biggest vtubers on the planet. Kizuna Ai beat her to the punch with that particular design. Maybe Sora wouldn't get overshadowed so much if her model wasn't called a Kizuna clone so often.
Last is that, whenever I watch her video game streams, it's painfully obvious how much of a casual she is. She's just not that good at many games. Meaning that she can't take part in many vidya collabs with her kouhais.

That said, I still like watching Sora's comfy streams. Even if she didn't become super popular like she deserves to be, she's still one of my favs.
