>>79320595I have a schizo theory as to why this is the case, I call it second image. The human brain is wired in such a way where our personality is deeply tied to our looks. We define ourselves partially by how we look, and we groom ourselves partially by how we define ourselves.
I believe this deep subconscious understanding of human aesthetic origination is what fuels us to have correct understanding of someone by just looking at them to some extent, and we like when these stereotypes hit our assumptions because the person is more predictable hence we can trust them more under our own understanding of who they are.
But our brain doesn't like it when it's the other way around. Having a vtuber model makes this way way easier to occur. Mainly because these individuals are not really their model, they're incapable of grooming their virtual self, nor define themselves by their second image. So people who look at them (their model), and hear their voice and see their personality, it gives viewers a dissonance. This is a problem, people in general don't like when logical assumptions don't hit, mainly because humans don't like being deceived (we do but only when it serves our desired delusion). Holo Justice is a failure because these dynamic exciting models are wasted on a
A german taking the role of a stoic Android
A fangirl embodying a woman with authority and power
Idk why I think Raora is wrong for her model, but it feels so uncanny and wrong listening to her
Gigi? Idk bro
The comments and schizo theories above are not meant to hate on the people but a mere observation I have about thr dynamics vtubers have with their model.
