I'm going to echo what that other Anon said and say that I think you have a real knack for delivering some moving lines that have a real beauty in their simplicity. The one about letting Aqua win was my favorite of the bunch. The whole arcade scene is quite moving in general in its serene grief. If I had to nitpick, I think the KFC scene lacks something to make it measure up to the other scenes and the laughing like a retard line could be phrased better. But those really are just nitpicks, I found this moving. To me, it's not about being ready to say goodbye, but being there then it happens.
I commend you for going through with this and getting it out. I also tried to work on something Aqua-related but ran into similar emotion-draining issues. You're a stronger person than me, so I hope this helped in some way.
