Projects were getting done, the company's reputation had completely recovered from Kana and Ria's graduations, and by the time she quit Tsunderia was the most successful small corpo. The problem was that she achieved all of this with absolutely no help from any of the other staff, or with other staff actively undermining her in some cases, and almost destroyed herself doing it both mentally and financially.
Compare that to the period after she left and it's night and day. Despite three new managers being hired to replace her they weren't able to pull off anything close to what she did singlehandedly, and I definitely don't think that was for lack of trying on their part (Rei in particular was obviously very invested in the company's success, and given she was still giving support to Lisa as recently as a OffKai that was obviously genuine). For almost a year the company was stagnant and basically every project they attempted to get off the ground, like Gen 2 outfits or Gen 4 debuts, ended in failure.
There's a reason most people would say that the company actually died when Slugma left, and that's because it did. Everything afterwards was a valiant but doomed attempt to keep the company on life support until PPP decided to unplug it so he could charge his groomer boyfriend's vibrator instead.
