Anyway since the production of coins is infinite you need to encourage buying and selling. This will bring back volume. But to essentially "punish" low volume coins you could implement a reverse split which would increase the value of coins but also remove coins from the market. Higher volume coins would in turn be "punished" with a split which would devalue the coin and flood the market with more of that coin in turn lowering volume. These splits and reverse splits would essentially inject volume into the market as people try to exit or enter positions and attempt to make plays on coins. It would also regulate the creation of new coins as people will stop buying coins that receive to many splits and will in turn focus on coins that just underwent a reverse split. Couple this with dividends and adjustments and it can create more opportunity for newer players to make big money while forcing people to be more strategic with their positioning in the market.
