It's been a little over 3 months, and I still cannot understand how, under any possible circumstance, that anyone with a functioning prefrontal cortex could have possibly thought that this was in any way a good idea.
Were they forced? Did Niji make them do this? Was it their own idea?
In a situation, in which the best response would be to do nothing, they decided to do this!?
It was like they thought, well shit, our own company just openly fessed up to the bullying accusations that no one actually publicly made, guess we better get out in front of this and actively let everyone know that we totally aren't the bullies in question, why would you even think that just because we're defending ourselves even though we weren't specifically named in any capacity?
So, seriously, was this Niji hanging them out to dry, or was this their own idea?
Do Elira and Vox have the IQs of a thumbtack?
Was Ike just dragged along for some nice guy validity, or was he one of the bullies?
I'm sorry, I know this seems just like a blatant bait thread, it's really not. This is just been living rent free in my head for 3 months cuz it's such a catastrophic clusterfuck of a PR move. Is Niji's PR department also made entirely of high school students with basic English literacy being paid minimum wage? How does a multi-billion dollar company fuck up this hard!? I can't stop thinking about it!
