At the start of this year I had to give up on a career I had spent nearly 10 years working towards since it was killing me spiritually. I thought it would be the end for me after losing something I had devoted so much of my life to but within a month I had managed to land a job which gave me much more freedom to start enjoying life and work on things I had been neglecting like my health and learning Japanese. I won't pretend to know the ins and outs of your situation but if you're willing to accept change things will get better.
