I think what makes nostalgic shit for VShojo hit me so hard is that while I do feel like things are definitely better these days overall, they're better with a lot of different people. Like if things were super positive with the original lineup the nostalgia wouldn't hit as hard since they were still around but this shit gives me the feeling of like looking through an old yearbook and seeing people you haven't seen anymore in ages.
