If you aren't so famous I think you could get away with it as actually spreading visiblity for your channel but if you are mid or corpo vtuber, then it's a shameful look. Nijisanji has been doing it a while for MVs. Makes it hard to trust if they got actual views for the song or that it was circulating in youtube ads for a while.
