So I discussed this in the general, but I figured /nenmen/ would appreciate my thoughts more. I think the songs general pace and structure suited Vox voice and overall tone way more than some of the high energy tracks he attempts in Karaoke; which is a major plus. Some of the livers like Uki often do songs way out of their respective range and doesn't highlight them in a positive light. But you find that middle-ground and it's fantastic, depending on the mix and direction. Props to Vox and everyone else on this one.
However I think if Vox is all about using music for "lore" than Esseff by VOWWS would be a perfect compliment to his empire falling in attack. I'd have Reimu do the second verse.
