>In February, Pomu released a cover of a song by one of her favorite idol groups (Niji no Conquistador)>In March, members of the idol group noticed the cover and commented on it>Pomu and those members began following each other on Twitter and tweeting back and forth>In May, THAT membership stream happens. What probably happened is that those members/their manager DM'd Pomu asking for a collab ("haha Niji Niji collab"), Pomu brought it to management, and they instantly shot it down.
One important thing to note is that Pomu said THEY reached out to HER. Konami wouldn't do something like that, as Konami has been working with Anycolor for years, and would know that everything goes through management, not the livers. So whoever it was that reached out was someone who wasn't familiar with the process, instantly ruling out Konami.
