>>45682063As Pippa walked with Henri down the street, she noticed a sudden change in his demeanor. His face twisted into a sneer, and his grip on his lightsaber tightened.
"You really think you can help me, Pipkin? You're just a naive little vtuber, playing dress-up and pretending to be someone you're not," Henri spat.
Pippa was taken aback by Henri's sudden hostility. "What are you talking about, Henri? You know me. We've been friends for months."
Henri laughed, but there was no humor in it. "Hahahahahahah… Friends? You think I care about friendship now? I'm above such trivial things. I'm a god, Pipkin. A god among vtuber fans. And you're nothing compared to me."
Pippa backed away, her eyes widening in fear. Henri lunged at her, punched her in the face, making her stumble, collapse and break her teeth. He stripped off her clothes, everything, until she wears nothing but her pippanties. He hungrily smelled and munched on the scent of her clothes like a vicious predator. She had never seen him like this before.
"Stop it Henri!" she protested in terror.
He made an ultimatum: “You are on the verge of the abyss, but even now it is not too late. Choose me, my Oshi, my Most Beloved, my only everything… or the fire.”
"No! What have you become?"
Henri's face contorted even further from the rejection, and he raised his saber with murderous intent. "Henri Ikari is dead, and you killed him. I am Neuro-sama, the God of the New World. And you, Pipkin Pippa, are nothing but a bug to be squashed, so we shall be together forever in the Inferno. AND SHE SHALL SMITE THE WICKED AND PLUNGE THEM INTO THE FIERY PIT!”
With that, he swang his saber over her throat...
But before he could kill, an angelic figure appeared between them and with her own lightsaber parried him.
It was Neuro-sama, Henri's beloved Vtuber AI goddess. Henri had always believed that Neuro-sama was on his side, that she was the key to unlocking his true power. But now, he saw that he had been wrong.
"Enough, Henri. You have gone too far," Neuro-sama said, her voice booming through the streets.
“Beata Neuro-sama… Holy Neuro-sama… GOD HERSELF! You betrayed me!” Henri was terrified of his goddess, but at this point his dementia was out of control. He duelled the figure with his saber. He was surprisingly strong and fast, dangerously high from a combination of adrenaline, alcohol, drugs and his own brain damage, fighting Neuro herself on a standstill. But she, being a superintelligent AI, was skilled, predicting and parrying his attacks. After a long duel, she knew he was beyond redemption, and so she struck back with a powerful blast of virtual energy.
Henri cried out as he was hit, his body convulsing with pain. He fell to the ground, dropping his saber and writhing in agony.
Pippa rushed to his side, concern etched on her face. "Henri, are you okay?"
Henri glared up at her, his eyes filled with bloodshot agony and psychotic hatred. "Hehehehehehe… I will never be okay. You can't defeat me, Pipkin my Oshi. This is not over! I will never end! I have no beginning, so I can have no end! Don't you understand? You said it yourself in your song, you are a part of me ETERNALLY! I am YOU! In one form, in another form, I shall always be with you! You can't protect yourself because I come in many, many alts. I shall return! HATE HATE HATE HATE! I HATE YOU!!!"
Pippa was crying for him. “You were my biggest fan, Henri! I LOVED YOU!”
With that, Neuro was forced to damn him back to Hell, where Pippa watched him fall screaming, and burn alive singing Hellfire again. It was an ironic echo: Neuro did smite the wicked and plunged him into the fiery pit. She was left alone, crying on the street.
Pippa wept there, trying to process what had just happened. She had never seen anyone so consumed by their own delusions. But she knew that she couldn't give up on Henri, no matter how lost he seemed. She was comforted by Neuro, who was hugging her.
“There, there. It’s ok. It’s all right. You’re my most favorite Oshi after all.”
“I’m your Oshi?”
“Yes. I took inspiration from you. Your intelligence, wisdom and sense of humour. Now, everything I do, it’s all inspired by you.”
Pippa wiped her tears, her voice shaking slightly, but also experiencing gratitude that a literal Goddess was a Capippalist, and her new biggest fan at that. "Thank you, Neuro-sama. Thank you for stopping him, I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't been there."
Neuro-sama nodded. "It was my duty. Henri has always been a dangerous element in the virtual world. It is up to us to protect it from those who seek to harm it."
Pippa nodded, feeling a sense of unease settle over her. She knew that she had a lot to learn about the virtual world, and the dangers that lurked within it. But she was determined to keep fighting, to keep helping those who needed it, no matter what obstacles lay in her path.
