>>42700237There's a fine amount of difference between vtubers, who are essentially just streamers with some makeup, and AI. I won't go into what AI can and can't do in the future, but for now we only have glorified chatbots.
And what else can you expect AI to do on stream, something that can entertain a lot of people? Neuro is popular primarily because of interactiveness, and the unexpected responces she throws occasionally. Maybe eventually Vedal will teach her to properly play Minecraft or something else, do you think it'll make her more interesting for people?
And the technical side of the question is also pretty big here. The development of such thing is no small act, and the system requirements are pretty heavy as well as we've seen on recent streams, not to mention stability issues. And that's only for a chatbot.
I would like to see a more advanced AI vtuber that could do more shit, but for now it seems like a monumental task for me. That being said, I can totally see some extreme autist going for it to make his waifu/OC real in the most literal sense of word.
