The question you ask of "what is the worst fanbase" can be taken in two directions - who is the loudest overall, or who has the "Worst offeneders"
For example, You could state that souls fans are the worst fanbase, simply because there is SO MANY of them, so you may feel like there's a lot of them spouting generally shitty opinions and arguing about a game series that is mostly top-tier, when in reality most of them are fine, there's just a fucking lot of them.
On the other hand KHfags aren't as common as they used to be, but have some of the most iconic insanely obnoxious autists out there, who will fight about KH vs FF15 until the day they die. Gachafans pretty much hide away in /vg/ so despite them being subhuman, they mostly stay in their hole.
The real answer though, if you want it, of what the most objectively worse video game fan out there, that would be fighting game fans. SF fans who hate their own series, GG "fans" who just want to scream about trannies, or old boomer FG fans who just scream about it being better back then. No matter what angle they go for, you are guaranteed to get an absolutely obnoxious opinion from someone who is god fucking awful at fighting games. You should be thankful EN barely touches fighting games.
