I think it's the opposite in a way.
Mint doesn't feel like she can produce content that's good enough for her viewers and she's afraid of disappointing her fans. She knows she'll have numbers at debut, but is deathly afraid of being judged by her community and being unable to match their expectations.
This is why she regrets becoming popular and wants to quit vtubing. The bar is too high and she doesn't seem to understand that none of that really matters to her fans. That might be due to a lot of her plans falling through over the years and then she blames it on herself "that project was stupid or impossible to begin with" or "I could have never done this in time anyway", etc. There's some truth to that, but the real reason was the environment she was in.
Matara knows this which is why she tried to get her close to Vshojo, but Mint is too stubborn because of her bad head space and now we don't know what will happen.<div class="xa24desu"></div>
