In general she's been very self-aware and of the expectations/implications/dangers of taking on the "gamer" title since debut and trying to remain humble about it, it's quite nice to see.
The intro voice blurb notably avoids calling herself a "gamer" (only says she "enjoys games"), she went out of her way to put her best foot forwards with her Sans interview and repeatedly downplayed it afterwards, and she's discussed living up to Pebbles' standards for her or apologized for not being able to live up to them multiple times.
though having humility and higher personal standards for what you consider a "gamer", and being aware that there are always higher mountains just makes her more of an actual gamer honestly
